    This SILIT pressure cooker is a sturdy kitchen tool for quick and healthy cooking. The 4.5-litre pot, 22 cm in diameter and finished in black, comes as a two-part set with a pot and matching lid. Made in Germany, it weighs about 4.8 kg.

    The pot is made from nickel-free Silargan, a durable, scratch-resistant and hygienic material. Its surface is easy to keep clean and suits people who are sensitive to nickel.

    Safety is provided by a five-level system tested by TÜV. It includes automatic steam shut-off, residual pressure protection, a safety opening, overpressure protection and a locking mechanism. Cooking is therefore both faster and safe. Food prepared in a pressure cooker is ready in a shorter time with less energy, while more of its vitamins and nutrients are retained.
