The Sennheiser XSW-D Portable Lavalier Set is a digital wireless clip-on microphone system designed for capturing conversations, interviews and presentations without cables. The transmitter is fitted with the ME2-II condenser lavalier microphone, which clips neatly to clothing, and the receiver offers a jack output for connecting to your recording device. Digital signal transmission keeps the connection reliable and free of interference.

The system operates in the 2.4 GHz band, which can be used worldwide without a licence. Under optimal conditions it provides an operating range of up to 75 metres, and a single charge delivers up to 5 hours of battery life.
