SENNHEISER MKE 600 shotgun microphone condenser capsule 505453

The Sennheiser MKE 600 is a professional shotgun microphone with a condenser capsule, suited to video cameras, handheld camera work and even film productions. Its strong directionality picks up sound from the direction the camera is facing while effectively attenuating noise arriving from the sides and rear.

A switchable low-cut filter further minimises wind noise and other unwanted low-frequency sounds. The microphone runs on both phantom power and battery, so it is also compatible with cameras that do not supply phantom power.

The on/off battery switch prevents unnecessary battery drain, while the Low Batt indicator gives timely warning of a low charge level. The solid, fully metal housing helps effectively eliminate handling noise. The package includes a foam windscreen and a flexible microphone holder.
