SCHMIDTSPIELE Qwirkle card game

Qwirkle is a card game in which players score points by combining cards that share a colour or a shape. Building matching sequences calls for strategy as well as luck. Each sequence must contain at least three cards and no more than six; a six-card sequence is a Qwirkle.

Each player starts with nine cards. On a move, a player can play a card from their hand or lay down a new sequence. Alternatively, they can discard between one and nine cards and draw the same number. The challenge is to make useful combinations while choosing when to refresh the cards in hand. The game ends when the draw pile is empty. It is designed for indoor play and listed for children aged 8 to 10.
