The common characteristic of Schleich figures is meticulous, detailed workmanship and hand painting.

Tarbosaurus means scary/terrifying lizard. The tyrannosaurids are a genus of Theropoda dinosaurs that lived in Asia at the end of the Late Cretaceous period, about 70–66 million years ago. Tarbosaurus and Tyrannosaurus are considered close relatives. Tarbosaurus lived on wet plains criss-crossed by rivers. In its environment, it was considered an apex predator at the top of the food chain, and it probably hunted large dinosaurs such as Saurolophus, a hadrosaurid, or Nemegtosaurus, a sauropod.
