SCHLEICH 14750 Wild Life Giraffe cow

The common characteristic of Schleich figures is meticulous, detailed workmanship and hand painting.

Despite the camouflaged, spotted pattern, giraffes do not always remain unnoticed by predators. Nevertheless, they can defend themselves: they can kick their opponents hard with their front hooves. They usually do this to protect their young, as adult animals are generally attacked less often. Anyone who has the opportunity to observe a giraffe up close can tell the difference between a female and a male very easily. Females are slightly smaller, with thin, tufted horns on their heads. In contrast, the thick horns on the heads of giraffe bulls have no hair.
