Cascadia is a tile-laying and drafting board game for 1 to 4 players aged 10 and up, in which wildlife takes centre stage. Each player starts with three hexagonal habitat tiles, covering five different habitat types. On their turn, players choose a new habitat tile paired with an animal token, place the tile next to their existing ones, and position the animal on a matching habitat.

The aim is to score as many points as possible. Points come both from creating the largest connected habitat area and from placing animals, which earn extra points when they form certain patterns. The player with the most diverse wildlife and the highest score wins.

A game takes about 30 to 45 minutes and requires careful planning, as every choice about habitats and animals affects the final score.
