This Runoland organic bilberry spread, packed in 200 g, is made from organic bilberries (60%) and organic apple juice concentrate (33%), with water and pectin as the gelling agent. No sugar has been added, so the natural flavour of the berries is brought out by the apple juice.
The spread works well as a topping or filling for cakes, ice cream and puddings, adding a fruity note to desserts. The berries are also traditionally enjoyed raw with sugar and cream, or as a juice.
Because the fruit is preserved, you can enjoy the taste of forest berries all year round, not only during the season.
