The RØDE Deadcat is a hairy wind deflector that can be attached to the sponge of the NTG1, NTG2 shotgun microphones and the Videomic Rycote video microphone. Its special artificial fur material reduces wind noise while remaining acoustically permeable.
The RØDE Deadcat can also be compatible with shotgun microphones from other manufacturers, as long as the RØDE WSVM microphone can be used together with a sponge for the given shotgun microphone.
