The performance of the new Raspberry Pi 5 CPU is 2-3 times higher, compared to the Pi 4 family, thanks to the 64-bit, quad-core Arm Cortex-A76 processor operating at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. The graphics performance has also increased significantly with the 800 MHz VideoCore VII GPU, which can simultaneously drive two 4K@p60 display outputs via a micro-HDMI connector. In addition, the GPU provides state-of-the-art camera support thanks to the Raspberry Pi image processing processor made with the new architecture, thus providing a smooth desktop PC experience for home users and opening the way for new applications for industrial customers.
