    The QNAP QDA-SA3 is an adapter that lets you use 6Gbps SATA drives in 2.5-inch SAS 12Gbps/6Gbps drive bays. Designed specifically for QNAP's dual-controller, all-flash Enterprise ZFS NAS systems such as the ES2486dc, it allows you to expand storage capacity with cost-effective SATA drives.

    The adapter supports 2.5-inch SATA HDDs and SSDs and delivers data transfer speeds of up to 6Gbps. An installed SATA drive can benefit from SAS dual-port operation, which provides redundancy and higher reliability by eliminating the single point of failure.

    The package includes four QDA-SA3 adapters. It fits easily into the matching 2.5-inch drive tray of the QNAP NAS, for example the TRAY-25-NK-BLK04. The product is manufactured in Taiwan and is an environmentally friendly product.
