Product description
The PremiumCord HDMI 2.1 Ultra High Speed active optical cable connects two audio-video devices, such as a Blu-ray player and an LCD or plasma TV. It carries digital video and audio together and supports HDCP content protection.
The optical design delivers lossless signal transmission over long distances, here 7 metres, and is immune to electromagnetic interference. With a maximum bandwidth of 48 Gb/s, it supports 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 120Hz, YUV 4:4:4 and 12-bit colour depth. Supported features include eARC, ARC, HEC, HDR, VRR, ALLM and CEC control.
It is compatible with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio and is backward compatible with HDMI 2.0 and 1.4. The hybrid cable is 4.6 mm thick and has gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors with metal housings. The direction is fixed: the connector marked “Source” goes to the playback device, the one marked “Display” to the screen.
