Prana Yerba Mate tea, 250 g, is made from 100% yerba mate leaves, a plant native to South America. Indigenous peoples traditionally called it the "herb of the gods", while gauchos today refer to it as "cowboy coffee". Its high caffeine content makes it a good choice for the morning.
For the best flavour, pour water heated to 70-80°C over the leaves, as hotter water can scorch the tea and reduce its taste. Traditionally the vessel is filled two-thirds to three-quarters full with mate, but it is advisable to start with one to two teaspoons. The tea can be infused several times.
