The advanced English language graduation exam corresponds to the B2 level of the Council of Europe. Its purpose is to measure communicative language skills, i.e. to determine whether the examinee is able to achieve his communication goals. Among other things, you must be able to communicate with foreigners in everyday situations, create a coherent text on familiar topics, report on the events that happened to you, your experiences, emotions and aspirations. You must be able to justify your plans and explain known events and phenomena.

In order to pass the high school diploma, the candidate must understand the most important information in everyday texts related to his own life (for example: school, free time, work). Our collection of thematic tasks will help you with this.

Structure of the publication:

- The collection of thematic tasks was specially prepared for practicing the skills required for the advanced graduation exam.

- The structure of the lessons corresponds to the structure of the baccalaureate exam: it consists of fourteen thematic lessons that fully cover the topics prescribed in the exam requirements. The questions collected on the introductory page of the lessons provide guidance on what smaller topics can be expected in relation to the given topic.

- Complex skill development: The basic vocabulary required for the topic can be practiced with the help of the vocabulary development tasks at the beginning of the lessons. The vocabulary tasks are followed by the preparation tasks for the part of the exam that measures listening and reading comprehension, speaking skills, writing skills and language accuracy. Some of these tasks support practice, and the type tasks support the acquisition of the exam routine.

- Test measuring lexical and grammatical knowledge in relation to the given topic.
