Pierce Brown - A sötétség kora 1-2. - Red rebellion 5.

It's been a decade since Darrow started a revolution against the Society. Now, an outcast of the Republic he founded, he begins a desperate war on Mercury in the hope that he can still fulfill Eo's dream. However, only death and destruction follow him, so the question arises: is he still the same hero who once broke his chains, or will someone else soon have to take his place?

Lysander au Lune, the exiled heir of House Lune, has returned to the Core. He is determined to restore order and bring peace to mankind once again. However, to do this, he must first bring under his control - or at least unite - the disloyal Golden families of the Seed, and then he must face Darrow under the skies of the terrified Mercury.

But the future of the world does not depend only on their fate.

Virginia, the ruler of the Republic, is trying to unite the houses and align them behind Darrow. Will he be able to save her while he has to survive among political criminals and murderers?

Lyria, a former Red refugee, faces charges of treason. His only hope is to escape with new allies who appear from unexpected places.

Pax and Electra were captured as victims of a new threat to the Republic. They have no other choice but to trust the thief Ephraim, who can become their savior - and this can also be his chance for redemption.

As various alliances shift, dissolve, and then re-form, and as power consolidates ever more unpredictably, all sides are at great risk in this increasingly bloody galactic war, the outcome of which could easily bring back the Dark Ages.
