Phonocar VM495 Android rearview mirror GPS camera

The Phonocar VM495 is an Android-based rearview mirror with built-in multimedia functions, combining a 9.7-inch touchscreen, a front camera recording in Full HD and a reversing camera with a 15-metre extension cable. The unit includes GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth hands-free calling and an FM transmitter, so navigation and music can be played through the vehicle's speakers. The Android 5.1 operating system supports both online and offline navigation as well as common apps.

Both cameras record journeys in Full HD, and a G-sensor automatically protects footage saved during an impact. The reversing camera switches on automatically when reversing, making parking and manoeuvring easier. The device can be powered by a hardwired connection or via the cigarette lighter socket, and adjustable brackets fit most original rearview mirrors.

The package includes power cables, a GPS antenna, a reversing camera with a 15-metre cable and mounting parts, so installation can be carried out without additional tools. The unit suits cars, minibuses and trucks.
