Phonocar VM494 rearview mirror DVR dash cam

The Phonocar VM494 is a rear-view mirror with a built-in dashcam that records the view ahead of the vehicle. Its 9.7-inch touchscreen lets you control every function with a single tap, and the front camera captures detailed footage in Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) with a 170-degree viewing angle.

A rear camera with a 140-degree viewing angle is included as an accessory. When reverse gear is engaged, the system switches automatically to reversing camera mode, which helps with manoeuvring and parking. The 15-metre cable makes it possible to install the rear camera in larger vehicles and vans. Recordings are saved to a microSD card.

The dashcam records continuously in loops, including while the vehicle is parked. An adjustable G-sensor detects impacts and locks important footage so it is not overwritten. The mirror is designed for installation in vehicles with a 12 V electrical system.
