Paul Auster - Brooklyni balgaságok

Divorced, retired Nathan Glass no longer desires anything but solitude and anonymity, so he retires to his childhood location, Brooklyn.
But he meets his long-unseen nephew, Tom, who once cherished academic ambitions but is now a taxi driver and then his friend, Harry, an antiquarian with a dubious past, and soon realizes that he is part of a conspiracy about a forged manuscript aimed at revenge. .
In this novel, Paul Auster tells the story of waning people in a warmer, more serene voice than usual, whose lives did not turn out as they had hoped, who had already given up on the future, but the future had by no means given up on them.

Auster, a longtime Nobel Laureate and holder of numerous literary awards, has translated his books into thirty languages.
His works are now appearing in the new life series of the 21st Century Publisher.
