PANASONIC LUMIX G 25mm F1.7 black H-H025ME-K

The Panasonic LUMIX G 25mm F1.7 is a compact black prime lens for Micro Four Thirds system cameras. With a 25 mm focal length, equivalent to 50 mm in full-frame terms, it delivers a natural perspective close to what the human eye sees, making it well suited to portrait and landscape photography.

The fast maximum aperture of f/1.7 allows shallow depth of field and a soft, pleasing background blur, and it keeps image quality reliable in low light. Its optical design uses eight elements in seven groups, including two aspherical lenses and one Ultra High Refractive Index element, which help minimise distortion and spherical aberration.

The lens supports HD video and features stepless aperture control, which avoids sudden exposure jumps during recording. Its very quiet operation makes it suitable for video work too, and it weighs just 130 g, so it is easy to carry.
