This coarse Celtic sea salt from PALEOLIT is harvested in Guérande, Brittany, using traditional methods that have been practised for more than 2000 years. The crystals keep their natural minerals and trace elements, giving the salt its distinctive greyish colour and characteristic flavour.
This unrefined salt contains more than 80 essential trace elements, including magnesium, calcium, potassium and zinc, according to the manufacturer. Because it is not subjected to industrial refining, these minerals are preserved. The coarse grain is suited to seasoning dishes, finishing meals and adding texture as a garnish.
The 1000-gram pack is designed for everyday kitchen use. The product contains no additives or preservatives.
