The Optoma Photon Beam PK52 is a laser projector with 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) and 3500 ANSI lumens of brightness. It uses DLP technology with a DuraCore laser light source and, according to the manufacturer, covers 95% of the DCI-P3 colour space. HDR support and Filmmaker Mode help deliver a cinema-like picture.

PureEngine and PureMotion MEMC technologies are designed to make moving images smooth and sharp. The projector supports 360-degree projection and offers automatic vertical keystone correction as well as 4-corner correction. Operating at 33 dB and drawing 150 W, it runs fairly quietly.

Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.0 inputs and a USB-A port with PD 1.5 A. The built-in 15-watt speaker handles sound playback. Measuring 238 x 130 x 215 mm and weighing 3.4 kg, the compact unit is rated for 24/7 operation and can be secured with a Kensington lock.
