Product description
The novel is the story of a beaten dog who finds Géza Granicsári under the ruins of a collapsed house and saves her life. In 1959, Granicsári reached a turning point in his life: he tried to change his career with a mature head and wrote a satirical novel that recorded his experiences during the Rákosi era. Temporarily, he becomes at the mercy of power, his new life is filled with a luxury apartment, a philosopher wife, friends and flatterers, but many people doubt whether he wrote the novel Up to the Bottom with Milk? Granicsári realizes that everything he believed in in the political field and in his private life almost blindly has the dominant value of the reciprocal. His younger colleague, Gyuri Hóka, unwittingly witnesses Granicsári breaking the sixth commandment, i.e. killing, and he punishes him by breaking the ninth commandment and, as revenge, tries to make love with his neighbor's spouse if he succeeds.
