NOCTUA NH-U12S DX-4677 CPU Cooler

Noctua's DX series CPU coolers have become the default choice for premium quiet cooling solutions for Intel Xeon processors. The NH-U12S DX-4677 has a larger, custom-designed contact surface for LGA4677 platforms. Based on the proven 120mm NH-U12S heatsink and equipped with two award-winning PWM-controlled NF-A12x25 120mm fans from Noctua, it provides an excellent balance between performance, compatibility and quiet operation. Complete with the professional SecuFirm2™ mounting system and pre-applied NT-H1 thermal compound, the NH-U12S DX-4677 forms a complete premium package for quiet cooling of LGA4677-based Xeon workstations and servers.

Please note that the NH-U12S DX-4677 is a dedicated version of the Intel LGA4677 socket. Due to the custom larger base, it cannot be used for smaller sockets and is not compatible with Noctua's mounting kits for these sockets. See our socket compatibility overview for details.

Please note that a plastic CPU carrier frame is required to install the LGA4677 processor and heatsink. These carrier frames are included with boxed retail CPUs and are available separately from Intel resellers for tray-type CPUs. Since different CPUs require different carrier frame types (E1A, E1B or E1C), please make sure to purchase the correct carrier frame for the tray type CPUs.
