Alice is a nice and cheerful little girl, but something bad happens to her. Someone he thought was his friend starts harassing him at school. Alice becomes increasingly sad and lonely, her self-confidence is shaken, she doesn't even want to leave the house anymore. Finally, he tells his mom what's bothering him, and together they figure out how to protect himself from the bully. After this succeeds, Alice feels lovable, strong and confident again, so she returns to her friends. And with his story, he also helps others to be able to stand up for themselves in a similar situation, as he did.
Contemporary bullying is an increasingly widespread phenomenon all over the world, including in Hungary. A large number of children suffer from verbal, emotional, physical or online abuse and ostracism - and in most cases they are left alone with their problems, they do not ask for/receive help. In such cases, the most important thing is that they can talk about what happened with an adult they trust, and that parents and teachers notice the signs of bullying and abuse in them. This book will help you talk to your child about this difficult topic. Although the solution to the story cannot of course be applied in every situation, as different cases may require different attitudes and tools, the point is that the child should indicate when there is a problem, and the parent and the teacher should jointly find the best ways to act.
