A quite unusual genre in Hungary: the reader is holding one of the fundamental works of space horror. True, only the origin is cosmic - after that the story takes place on Earth. A human head-sized piece of stone is brought from space from an unknown location. By the time the astronaut reaches home on Earth, he dies. No one knows where the stone comes from, nor what tragically magical properties it has... The stone is given and taken by the space rock collectors, stolen, robbed, cheated out of each other. Whoever has it puts them in mortal danger. The investigation of mysterious and hair-raising deaths is entrusted to a female detective, who soon finds herself on the trail of death in space. But even he cannot prevent the owners of the stone from saying goodbye to life in the most terrible ways. Only towards the end of the novel does it become clear that the stone is being moved by an extraterrestrial civilization and that it acts as the arbiter of justice... The lone initiate - like almost the only innocent earthling - is saved, and the stone continues on its way... The novel abounds in the surprising in revolutions. We will witness deaths that we have never seen in movies or read about in books. Everyone is afraid of what lies in their soul. And the "stone" knows exactly the past, tendencies and sins of each owner...
