Ingredients: 100% Epsom salt INCI: Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate. Magnesium sulfate is used both externally (in the form of Epsom salt) and internally.
The main external use is as bath salts, especially in foot baths to soothe sore feet. Such baths are also said to relieve and speed healing of muscle aches, pains or injuries. The potential health effects of magnesium sulfate are reflected in medical studies reporting magnesium's effects on resistant depression and as a pain reliever for migraines and chronic pain.
Internally, magnesium sulfate can be given orally, by inhalation or intravenously. Its internal use includes replacement therapy for magnesium deficiency, treatment of acute and severe rhythm disorders, as a bronchodilator in the treatment of asthma and as an antispasmodic.
It can also be used as a laxative. May contain traces of peanuts, tree nuts and sesame seeds
