In Hungarian poetry, the bound forms can be beat-accented, time-measured, accent-changing, mora counters, bi-, tri- and quadrimetric, as well as syllable counters. The author of the volume, or if you prefer, the compiler, tries to give an account of the rhyming and non-rhyming versions of these forms, but in such a way that he, the reader, knows: the easier approach to poetry, the one that does not examine the diversity of informal forms, is in fact blinding he chose his way. The companion in this blindness can be the reader who turns the pages of the volume.
