The voluminous work is motivated by the history of culture, a oeuvre analysis and reception history narrative, an ideology-free synthesis. It is about the famous historian, his age, his works, his environment, what was written about him and his afterlife extending to the present day(!): by recalling and organizing all of this, by connecting and reconstructing thoughts, events and stories. Presentation of the fact that in this topic - similarly to the life work of László Németh, researched and published by the Author - there are rather sharp yeses and noes tense, and they are tense with each other to this day, but the researcher who does not belong to the guilds does not necessarily have to join one or the other spiritual-ideological or for a professional camp. It is more useful if, during your research covering all important moments and documents, the unearthed and processed sources and their primary interpretations offer clues for drawing conclusions. The apparatus of the book also contains an index.
