Product description
In the summer of 2016, we launched the Body parts book series: the 5-volume story series introduces children to their body parts through instructive, lovely stories, with which they perceive and discover the world around them. The protagonist of the stories is of course Móna, but this time her younger brother Marci also joins the adventures. Other volumes: Foot and hand, Eye and mouth, Nose and ear, Head and heart, as well as Body. In the tale of the foot, Marci, Móna's 6-month-old little brother, discovers his foot, which his sister watches with interest. Then they play with the different shoes of the family to a shoe poem written from phonetic words. In the tale of Kéz, they make a gift for mother together. In the Tale of the Eyes, Móna learns about her pupils, and 1-year-old Marci learns to speak in the Tale of the Mouth. In the tale of the Nose, one-and-a-half-year-old Marci copes with a cold with the help of herbs, in the tale of the Ear, we learn the penetrating power of music, and how mockery can be turned into acceptance. In the Tale of the Head, Móna builds a city, which she controls from the tower and protects it during the tornado, and in the Tale of the Heart, she draws good wishes for all her friends. And what is the story of the Body about? About the harmony of the body parts and the 5 senses, with the help of which we tune in to the Earth on Earth Day. The stories are supplemented by well-known and new rhymes and songs. While reading the story, we can also sing and recite rhymes with our child, thus musical development is also realized. We placed questions on the interactive whiteboards, which, when thought through and answered, turn reading together into a personal experience, and the children can be active participants in the story. In the text, we have highlighted the important words and drawn their meaning next to them, so that children of preschool age who cannot yet read can get to know the essence of reading. While sitting on their parents' laps, they look at the storybook together, observe the shape of the highlighted words, and their visual memory develops. And for the older ones, we have made it easier for them to develop independent reading. Not only do we come across highlighted words in the subject case, but children who are more attentive to details can also observe the vowels. Why is it important to raise the attention of the smallest children to words?
