    Product description

    The MikroTik LHG XL 5 ax (LHG-5axD-XL) is an outdoor wireless device for the 5 GHz band, supporting the 802.11ax standard. The integrated radio and grid antenna form a single unit, so no pigtail cables are needed, which avoids the signal loss caused by cable connections. The antenna measures 550 mm in diameter, offers 27 dBi gain and supports 2x2 MIMO.

    A dual-core IPQ-5010 processor running at 800 MHz and 256 MB of RAM provide the processing base. According to the manufacturer, stable point-to-point links over distances of up to 30 km are possible, which suits applications requiring high bandwidth. Compared with 802.11ac, 802.11ax offers better spectral efficiency, higher modulation rates (1024-QAM) and lower latency.

    Power is supplied passively via PoE at 12 to 28 V DC, with a maximum consumption of 5 W. The device runs RouterOS v7 and supports WPA3 encryption.
