The Micron 7450 PRO is an enterprise NVMe SSD with a capacity of 1.92 TB, designed for cloud and large-scale data centers handling diverse workloads. The drive is built on Micron's 176-layer 3D TLC NAND and uses a PCIe Gen4 interface for high performance.
The drive comes in a 2.5-inch, 15 mm form factor and connects via a U.3 PCIe 4.0 x4 (NVMe) interface. According to the specifications, it reaches sequential read speeds of 6800 MB/s and write speeds of 2700 MB/s. Random performance is rated at 800,000 IOPS for reads and 120,000 IOPS for writes.
For data protection, the model includes hardware encryption, a secure execution environment, power-loss protection and secure boot. It also supports the OCP NVMe SSD 2.0 standard for intelligent data center management. The MTBF is rated at 2,000,000 hours and the endurance at 3650 TB.
