The present monograph undertakes to present the ancient intellectual trends that considered it important to create schools. With their teaching and traditions, these schools were organically integrated into the religious and cultural life of medieval and modern Europe, and became defining and unavoidable elements of European public thinking. The book presents the ancient Europe's perception of education while arguing for the inseparability of philosophy and pedagogy in the spirit of a single and unified science according to the perception of the time. He also does this in order to present values for the current pedagogical renewal, which can still be solid anchor points in the life of a person who thinks of himself as a person and believes that his loving existence stretches the boundaries of this world. & #10;The book argues for the renewal of the tradition of school retreats and invites the reader to view his own existence in a universal perspective that enables him to follow the path of wisdom in fulfilling his daily life tasks.
