Mandy plant-based pâté with sesame 120 g

Mandy is a plant-based sesame pâté in a 120 g jar, made from water, sunflower oil, soy protein and wheat starch. Sesame seeds, mustard and celery add flavour, while a blend of gelling and thickening agents gives the spread a smooth, firm texture. It is a vegetarian alternative to animal pâtés and can be spread on bread or served with vegetables and crackers.

According to the label, 100 g contains 237 kcal, 2.3 g fat of which 3 g saturated fat, 3.25 g carbohydrates including virtually no sugar, 1.41 g fibre, 3.68 g protein and 1.4 g salt. The recipe also uses rosemary and paprika extracts as antioxidants, along with a yeast-free flavour enhancer.
