    The Makita GD001GZ is a professional 40V die grinder from the XGT cordless system, powered by a brushless motor. It is suited to grinding, routing and cutting with accessories up to 52 mm in diameter. Speed is adjustable from 7,000 to 29,000 RPM, supported by constant electronics and an LED work light.

    Safety is built in through AFT technology, which stops the motor immediately if the tool jams. Restart protection, electric brake and soft-start functions further protect the user. The dust-proof housing is protected against water spray (IP56) and handles heavy use well.

    The package includes a collet nut, a 6 mm collet chuck and a single-open-end wrench. The battery and charger are sold separately. XGT 40V batteries are optimised for high discharge current and long service life.
