Maja Lunde - Kékség
Product description
In 2015, Maja Lunde conquered the world in one fell swoop with her book The History of Bees. He is now continuing his series with a new novel about the vulnerability of man and nature. This time, it focuses on the struggle for the most necessary material for life, water.
2017: Signe, the environmental activist, will soon be 70 years old, but she is not afraid of the sea. From her native village in western Norway, she leaves alone on a sailing ship for the French coast to meet the man she once loved very much. The ship's special cargo is closely linked to the fate of the blue planet.
2041: David feels young to be a father, but is left alone with his young daughter. They are fleeing in pairs from drought-stricken southern Europe to the north, as there is no longer enough water for everyone. Everything changes when they find an abandoned, old sailing ship in a dry garden in the interior of the country.
The book was translated by Bence Patat
