The microscope head is used together with a universal stand and a focus holder. It is designed to observe the details of three-dimensional objects and their structure, while maintaining the effective volume and clarity of the surface pattern.
The Greenough optical design provides great depth of field and gives a three-dimensional image thanks to the 15° stereo angle. The microscope head can magnify the image of the object without loss of spatial orientation. The head unit mounted on a universal stand can be used for restoration, soldering, assembly, quality control and other similar activities.

Type of microscope head

The microscope has a three-eyepiece head, and the digital camera can be mounted in the three-eyepiece tube with a C-mount adapter. Additional objective lenses with other magnification levels can be ordered for the device.
The basic set includes the 10x/22 mm eyepiece, which can be adjusted to the diopter, and has a large eye distance so that it can be used even with glasses.

Zoom

The lens zooms smoothly up to 8.4x without loss of focus. The optical design creates a vertical (not inverted) three-dimensional image. Additional objective lenses can be used to increase the magnification range and to modify the field of view and the working distance of the microscope.

Accessories

Various accessories are available for this microscope head. The magnification range of the microscope can be extended with eyepieces and additional objective lenses.
C-mount adapters connect the camera to the microscope; the degree of magnification of the adapter is determined by the size of the camera's matrix.
A digital camera can project the image from the microscope onto a screen.
Accurate measurement of the samples is supported by a calibration slide. The scale value on the calibration slides of stereomicroscopes is 0.1 mm.
Ring light fixture - shadow-free illumination of the work area in reflected light.
Due to the ring light with polarizer, shiny metal surfaces do not shine in the images.
The lighting of the work area can be fine-tuned with the ring light equipped with a sector switch and a flexible arm. The lamp is set at a certain angle, thus creating the light and shadow necessary for study, and the appropriate side of the specimen remains illuminated.
The general-purpose stand can be used to expand the work area and provide more freedom to choose the position of the microscope head above it.
