MAGUS CLM10 digital camera
Product description
The MAGUS CLM10 is a budget-friendly monochrome microscope camera for those who want to take pictures under fluorescent light or dark field conditions. The 2.3 MP matrix creates an image with a resolution of 1920x1200 px. The frame rate is 120 fps, which also allows you to photograph moving objects. The video is vivid, realistic, free of lag and gaps. The recorded recording is also suitable for external display and presentation. The camera can be used with medium and high magnification lenses: 40x, 60x and 100x. Finer details can be seen more clearly with the integration of the medium magnification lens. The USB 3.0 interface built into the device is capable of high data transfer rates and is also suitable for professional laboratory research and use during university-level training.

The camera has its own software. The software makes it possible to take photos and record videos without any other equipment, and also to measure the linear and angular dimensions of the given object, as well as its structure. Before starting the measurement, the equipment must be calibrated for each lens, using the calibration slider.

The camera has a monochrome Sony CMOS sensor, which belongs to the Exmor product line. Known for its backlight technology, this technology provides outstanding light sensitivity with a small matrix size. In the MAGUS CLM10 camera, the matrix size is 1/1.2'', the pixel size is 5.86x5.86 μm, and it provides a light sensitivity of 1016 mV at a shutter speed of 1/30 second. The device can also be used to take pictures under low or fluorescent lighting. The monochrome matrix does not allow you to distinguish the colors of a given object, but it will create a sharp contrast image. To achieve the widest field of view without distortion, we recommend using a 0.75-1x magnification adapter.

The camera's global lock reads the signals of all pixels simultaneously. Because of this, the image will be distortion-free, even if the object is moving quickly.

The camera can be connected to the microscope with a C-mount. There are two connection options: mounting in the trinocular tube or in the eyepiece tube. In the case of the latter, you will also need an adapter ring to match the size of the tube.
