Madarász Éva - roller-coaster

If he doesn't go home earlier that day, if he doesn't catch his father in the kitchen with that strange woman, if his mother fights harder to keep the family together - maybe she won't fall apart. This is what 15-year-old Eszter Temesi thinks to herself. He is angry with his father, angry with his mother, angry with the world, sometimes he even gets upset with his adorable little sister. Do you understand that all these "ifs" are pointless and everything is more complicated than you thought? Maybe he managed to get out of the shell he was living in until now? Because if you think about it, that's the only way it could have happened that Barnabás braked next to her one night... Éva Madarász's first novel depicts with a strong sensitivity the confusion, struggle, entanglement of a teenage girl who receives her first big slaps from life, faces the complexity of things, tends to fight, but is life-affirming emotions and desire for happiness.
