This PrimeLine patch cable belongs to the Cat.8.1 category and is designed for networks requiring high data rates. It uses four twisted pairs of copper conductors at 26/7 AWG with PIMF shielding, which helps reduce external interference. According to the manufacturer, it is suitable for 40G Base-T as well as PoE+ and PoE++ applications. The cable is tested to Class I of the ISO11801 standard for Cat.8 channels, and each cable is supplied with a test report.

The outer jacket is made of halogen-free LSZH material and measures 6.2 mm in outer diameter. The RJ45 connectors are shielded and feature gold-plated contacts. The light grey cable (RAL 7035) is 10 m long and weighs approximately 400 g.
