This CAT6A network extension cable has an RJ-45 plug at one end and an RJ-45 socket at the other, making it a simple way to lengthen an existing network connection. At 1 m long, it is suited to linking devices that sit close together, and it is stated to be compatible with Cat.5, Cat.6 and Cat.7 RJ-45 connectors.
The cable is shielded (S/FTP). It uses four twisted pairs of solid copper conductors (4x2xAWG26/7), with an overall braided shield and foil screening around each pair. Gold-plated contacts are designed to maintain a reliable signal.
The halogen-free, flame-retardant LSZH jacket adds an extra measure of safety. The cable is white and weighs around 30 g.
