LINDY U/FTP CAT8.1 Connecting Cable Grey 2m 74347

This LINDY U/FTP patch cable in Cat.8.1 provides a reliable link between servers and network equipment, designed for data centre and server room environments. The double shielding of aluminium foil and copper braid, together with a 32 AWG stranded copper conductor, delivers high signal quality for 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T Ethernet networks at speeds up to 40 Gbit/s. Bandwidth is rated at 2000 MHz with a characteristic impedance of 100 Ω.

The jacket is only 3.8 mm in diameter and made from halogen-free LSZH-TPE, so it is very flexible and takes up little space in the server cabinet, which helps airflow. The RJ-45 connectors (8P8C) follow the EIA/TIA-568 B wiring standard and have 3 μm gold plating. Strain relief boots at both ends and latch protectors add durability, and the connectors carry length markings.

This 2 m grey cable is also suitable for outdoor (external) use, according to the manufacturer.
