The Levenhuk LX700 laser rangefinder is a compact and lightweight device that, in addition to measuring distance and angles, also calculates the speed of moving objects. It is characterized by fast performance, low energy consumption and high accuracy of measurements. You can target both large (e.g. buildings or trees) and relatively small (e.g. flagpoles or small animals) objects of different sizes. The device measures up to a distance of 700 meters.

The optical elements provide 6x magnification, so the device can also be used as a classic monocular telescope for observations. The rangefinder has two modes: individual distance measurement mode and scanning mode. In scanning mode, measurements can be made continuously, which is useful, for example, when measuring the distance of a moving object. A flagpole capture mode is also available, which is used to measure the distance of an individual small object in the field. The device quickly finds the target and vibrates when it locks in place. The device also has a slope mode. In slope mode, all measurement values ​​are displayed in real time.

The device works with a built-in rechargeable battery that can be charged via the supplied USB cable (mains adapter not included). The automatic shutdown function saves the battery. Although designed for handheld use, it has a 1/4″ tripod thread that allows the rangefinder to be attached to a standard tripod to stabilize the device.
