This slide film edition of Ervin Lázár's classic tale brings the story of the inhabitants of the square-cornered round forest to life with new illustrations. Young viewers meet Mikkamakka, the cat with a child's face, the old lion Szigfrid Bruckner and the clever hare Aromó. Other familiar characters include Serafin the horse, Lajos the Monster, Vacskamati and Dömdödöm.
New drawings by György Szalay bring these memorable characters to life on screen. Designed for children around four to six years old, the slide film supports imagination and introduces them to classic Hungarian children's literature.
The 2017 edition is well suited to family screenings as well as to educational use.
