Lauren Beukes - gleaming lányok

Harper Curtis is the killer who came from the past, and Kirby Mazrachi is the girl with no future.
Kirby is the last of a line of bright, passionate girls whose lives Harper sets out to snuff out, one after the other, after he stumbles across the House in Depression-era Chicago, which opens its doors to another time.
Harper is the perfect killer who disappears without a trace into another era after one murder - but one of his victims survives.
Obsessed with his assailant's search for clues, Kirby teams up with ex-Chicago Sun-Times crime reporter Dan Velasquez, whose career took a different turn because of his case, and Kirby soon discovers the seemingly impossible truth...

The novel based on the Apple TV+ Apple Original series Fairy Girls.
