Product description
Rezső Rudolf Láng (1881-1963), who also visited the Siberian prisoner of war camp, was also a columnist in the editorial staff of Nimród. In the ten sections of this hunting magazine (e.g. hunting studies, hunting narratives, shooting and weapon technology, ammunition, hunting) more than half a thousand articles were published, most of which he published under the name Sólyom.
This gap-filling volume publishes a selection from these writings, from which the author's sincere love of nature, high level of professional competence, and high ethical standards stand out, values that elevate him to the advocates of true, noble hunting, among those who are not killers, but " loving stewards" of the wild.
Rudolf Rezső Láng was an esteemed member of the hunting community, among his friends István Fekete and Kálmán Kittenberger. The former considered him the conscience and wise teacher of hunters, and the latter called him the "holy man" of Nimród, referring to the standard that his work represented in knowledge and setting an example, especially in the field of hunting ethics. He summarized the essence of this himself as follows:
"Respect the law, love the animal, respect your fellow hunters."
