This CAT5E UTP patch cable connects network devices reliably in home and office environments. At 1.5 metres long with male connectors at both ends, it suits short links between a router, switch, computer or other equipment. The blue jacket makes individual cables easy to identify in larger installations.
The cable uses copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors with a PVC outer sheath and HDPE insulation. Each conductor is made of seven strands of 0.16 mm wire, giving an AWG 26 gauge, and the outer diameter is 4.8 mm. The U/UTP shielding type supports a maximum operating frequency of 100 MHz.
Each pack contains ten cables, which makes them practical for larger network installations. The patch cable has passed Fluke testing.
