Kopriva Nikolett - Amire just a fák emlékeznek

We will find out how much can happen in a single yard, in a landscape stretching to the horizon or in a house, when we read Nikolett Kopriva's book of poems. Even a private sea can fit into this space, and even Walt Whitman wanders in. Only endless loneliness emerges from it. This is clean poetry, with little ornamentation, but its painful emotional content is depressing, and its thoughtfulness is delightful. That's why we say it's beautiful. Kopriva Nikolett was born in Kisvárda in 1996, but grew up in Munkács in Transcarpathia. He graduated from the liberal arts department of the University of Debrecen, then obtained a master's degree in aesthetics from the Pázmány Péter Catholic University. He has been publishing since 2015, and his works were published in the anthology A single moment of perfect privacy, as well as in the 2020 edition of Poems of the Year. In 2019, he was awarded the Irodalmi Jelen debut award, and in 2020 he received the Zsigmond Móricz creative scholarship. He is a student of the Writing Academy of the Pushed Garrison. This is his first volume.
