Kemény Kristóf - Puskás Öcsi 3. - Irány a felnőttcsapat!

This picture book is the final instalment of the series that traces the childhood of football legend Ferenc Puskás. It follows Öcsi, who at the age of 16 is finally allowed to join the senior players of Kispest as they prepare for a league match. The road there is long and full of adventure. At first Öcsi and his friends have to make do with old football boots handed down from older boys, and they must prove to the coach that they are better than the opposition.

The story mixes playful and instructive episodes. Young readers learn how a loving father can also be a strict coach to his son, and see the moment when the ever-critical Feri bácsi finally declares that Öcsi will one day become a world star. The book is aimed at children who love football and enjoy stories about the early years of a great sporting career.
