Product description
József Kaczvinszky (Budapest, August 9, 1904 – October 29, 1963) Hungarian writer, orientalist, literary translator, yoga instructor. His main work, the three-volume The Light of the East, is an outstanding work of Hungarian yoga literature. His scientific preparation was multifaceted. Nowadays, he is primarily known as an Orientalist, but he also dealt with psychology, mathematics, physics, as well as symbol analysis and the Tarot system. For the most part, these concepts are so different from the concepts of Western biology, psychology and Western epistemology in general that their illumination and explanation becomes absolutely necessary before the reader can delve into the actual essence of philosophy - yoga. The doctrine of yoga originates from the times before Christ and even before the birth of Buddha. It did not remain a unified doctrine all the way through, but was divided into several branches. In terms of their understanding and tools, its various trends are quite different and only partially agree with each other, but their goal is always the same. Their goal: distinguishing the Spirit from everything that is not the Spirit, and as a result liberation from the bondage of Nature. Yoga is not only a theory, but also a practice. It not only shows the goal, the ultimate and identical goal of all life, but also leads the person, the follower of yoga, step by step there. I. Introduction to Yoga ;II. Practical Yoga III. Mystical Yoga
