    The HP P28618-B21 is an enterprise hard drive with 2.4 TB of capacity, designed for mission-critical server workloads that need to run reliably around the clock. Spinning at 10,000 rpm and connected through a SAS 12G interface, it offers high performance and dependable operation in data center environments.

    Its 2.5-inch small form factor (SFF) hot-plug design lets you replace the drive without shutting down the server. Advanced Format with 512e sectors optimises data storage, while the 512 MB buffer supports fast data access.

    The self-encrypting drive carries FIPS 140-2 certification, providing hardware-level data protection. The drive is built for HPE Gen10 Plus servers and requires a tri-mode controller to operate.
